About the Tribunal

The Tribunal is established under section 29 of the Labour Code 2010 to hear and determine employment disputes and complaints. As provided in section 30(2) of the Code, the Tribunal, in the exercise of its powers shall:

Make such order or award as it considers fair and just, having regard to the interests of the persons concerned and the community as a whole; and Act in accordance with equity, good conscience, and the substantial merits of the case before it having regard to the principles and practices of good industrial relations
